About Us

We Mandiali Group of Industries are major share holder in paper market with our sister concern Premier Paper Mills since 1979.
Group has production facility at Premier Paper Mills Ltd., Mandiali Paper Mills (Pvt) Ltd. Unit1 and Unit2. Group is producing all sorts of paper & boards. Mandiali Group initiated his carrier by launching his first project in paper sector in 1967 by the erection of a new machine from Koyo Japan equipped with own wheat straw pulp mills; named P.P.P. (Pakistan Paper Products) in a public sector. Machine started production in 1969. P.P.P. switched over to private sector in 1979 renamed Mandiali Paper Mills (Pvt) Ltd. because of its vicinity in a 100 year old village (Mandiali) situated at 21-K.M. Lahore Sheikhupura Road, Lahore.
Another plant was brought form Sweden and started installation with the help of our sister concern organization Premier Paper Mills Ltd. in 1990.

Mandiali Paper Mills Unit2 i.e. PM2 started production in 1992. A combination machine with its own wheat straw pulp mills to improve quality came into operation in 1994. Latest press part and D.C. drive against obsolete line shaft was in Vogue. Now its Pakistan’s first combination machine to produce paper and board ranging from 40GSM ~ 400GSM.
Originally the plant was designed to manufacture 14,400 MT/Year of writing, printing and packaging paper. The trial production started in November 1991 and commercial production from May 1992. The company also implemented the Crash programme in 1994 to increase production capacity to 18800 MT/Year.

The production capacity has increased to 22000 MT/Year after successful completion of modernization/expansion programme in 2000-2001. This programme included rebuilding of paper machine no. II [by adding press parts, dryers and calendar stack, size press, colour kitchen and process automation] and balancing of pulp mill, power house and other sections of the mill.

  Viscose Staple Fiber Division:

The company has set up a plant Rehmat Nazir Rayon (Pvt) Ltd. for manfacturing of viscose staple fiber at 21-K.M. Lahore Sheikhupura Road, Lahore.The Rehmat Nazir Rayon plant is relocated from Acordis Cellulose Inc Mobile Alabama, USA. The Acordis Cellulose Fiber Plant in Axis Alabama was originally built in 1952 by Courtaulds. Since that time the factory has undergone several modernization and upgrades. In 1998, Courdaulds was brought by Akzo Nobel and their fiber businesses combined with the Akzo Nobel fiber businesses to form a separate fibers company called Acordis. The Acordis group has sale of some $ 3 billion, employs 19,000 peoples worldwide and has production facilities in Germany, Netherlands, UK, USA, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Poland. When the plant is closed, it was operating about 160 millions lbs per year of staple fiber and employs a total of about 400.
